Spanish Cedar
Spanish Cedar is a well-known and often used wood for outdoor furniture and high-end cabinets. It has excellent working properties and is known for it’s very distinctive fragrance. It is harder than Western cedar but is light in weight.
Your Adirondack chair has a natural resistance to bugs, rot and distortion and will last for years without stain or lacquer, therefore we offer this fine wood product to you unfinished. Sealing the feet is recommended to stop water from wicking into the chair legs. Tung oil or penofin will bring out the beautiful wood grain. A classic design that is easy to put together, the Adirondack chair comes unassembled in six predrilled pieces. There are six long carriage bolts for the legs two for the arms and screws for the armrest. All hardware is stainless steel. All screw holes are plugged and sanded except those that are necessary for assembly.
